Cocktail created to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Bristol Hotel, whose history dates back to 1901—a time when Warsaw was entering the Belle Époque.
It was inspired by the classic French 75—one of the most recognizable cocktails of that era. In a new, bolder interpretation, its character has been deliberately transformed—and so the French 125 was created, where gin got replaced by cognac.
Today, to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the hotel-icon, the citrus note is replaced by a signature cordial made from rose, bergamot, and jasmine infusions. This recipe draws on the tradition of afternoon tea, a staple of social life at the time. It is an elegant, balanced composition that combines classic cocktail elements with the history of the venue, creating a contemporary toast in honor of the Bristol Hotel.
Available from April 11.
